Katherine is a lifelong resident of Burke County and has a deep appreciation for the communities, natural beauty, and lifestyle that make this area such a special place to live. She and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors, whether they are relaxing on Lake James, exploring the national forest with their dogs, or enjoying one of the many local restaurants with family and friends.
Before entering real estate, Katherine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Appalachian State University. She spent several years working in mental health and education, experiences that shaped her passion for listening to others, understanding their individual needs, and helping them meet their goals.
Most recently, Katherine has assisted her husband with his residential construction business, gaining knowledge of the home-building process. This experience gives her a unique perspective when helping clients understand properties, evaluate opportunities, and navigate the many details that go into buying or selling a home.
